These terms cover your use of the Infralytiqs console, the tracking SDKs, the ingest API and this website. Creating an account or sending an event means you accept them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you are confirming you are allowed to bind it.
They are written to be read. Where a clause exists to protect us rather than to inform you, we have said so plainly instead of hiding it in capital letters.
What the service is
Infralytiqs provides the collection and reporting layer for event analytics: SDKs that capture events, an ingest API that validates and batches them, a console that defines tenants and reports, and dashboards that query the results. Log collection through a Loki server works the same way.
What it does not provide is the database. You supply the ClickHouse host, and the platform provisions its schema there and writes your rows into it. This is the central design decision of the product, and most of the clauses below follow from it.
Your account
Accounts are created through single sign-on with an identity provider you already use. You are responsible for who you let into your account, and for keeping your clientKey and clientSecret to yourself — anyone holding the secret can write events into your database.
Tell us at hello@infralytiqs.com if you think credentials have leaked, and rotate them in the console. Activity carried out with your credentials counts as yours.
Do not create an account if you are under the age at which you can enter a contract where you live.
Your data stays yours
Every event row, log line and report definition you create belongs to you. Because the events land in your own database, you keep them whether or not you keep using Infralytiqs — there is nothing to export and no lock-in to unwind.
You grant us only the access needed to run the service for you: to write the schema, to insert the events you send, and to run the queries behind the reports you asked for. We do not use your event data to train anything, we do not aggregate it into benchmarks, and we do not sell it. How we handle personal data is set out in the Privacy Policy.
The flip side is that you are responsible for what you put in it. Having a lawful basis to collect the events, telling your own users what you track, and honouring their deletion requests against your database are yours to do.
What free means
The platform is free to start: no credit card, no seat limits, and no cap that quietly begins sampling your data. Your real cost is the ClickHouse server you run, which is why we document sizing rather than resell capacity.
Free also sets expectations honestly. A free account carries no uptime commitment and no guaranteed support response time. We ask in return that you use it in proportion: the ingest API accepts up to 1,000 events per request, and we may apply rate limits to keep the service usable for everyone. If your volume outgrows what a shared endpoint can serve fairly, talk to us rather than working around the limits.
If we ever introduce paid plans, we will not retroactively start charging for an account you already run under these terms without telling you first and giving you the choice to decline.
Acceptable use
Use the platform for analytics on properties you control. Specifically, do not use it to:
- track people covertly, or in a way you have not disclosed to them or are not permitted to;
- collect special-category data — health, biometrics, precise location, financial credentials — without a lawful basis and appropriate care;
- send content that is unlawful, or that infringes someone else's rights;
- probe, load-test or attack the ingest endpoint or the console, or attempt to reach another tenant's data;
- resell the platform as your own service, or strip our notices from the SDKs.
Reverse engineering for interoperability, security research, and reading the SDK source to understand what it collects are all fine — that is why the collection behaviour is documented rather than obfuscated. Report anything you find to hello@infralytiqs.com before disclosing it publicly.
Support
Support runs by email at hello@infralytiqs.com. There is no committed response time on a free account, but questions about integration, schema design or ClickHouse sizing are the ones we most want to answer, so they tend to get answered.
We can help you read your own data and write your own queries. We will not sign into your ClickHouse server or change your infrastructure for you unless you ask us to and arrange it separately.
Availability and changes
We run the service with care but not with a guarantee. It may be unavailable for maintenance, for a provider failure, or because something broke. Events rejected during an outage are not recovered by us; the SDKs batch and retry, and durable delivery for anything you cannot afford to lose is worth designing on your side.
The platform will keep changing. Additions are continuous; where a change would break an existing integration — an SDK contract, an ingest field, a schema column — we will announce it and leave a reasonable window before it takes effect, rather than shipping it silently.
Intellectual property
The platform itself — the console, the SDKs, the ingest service, the documentation and the Infralytiqs name and marks — remains ours. You get a licence to use it for as long as you comply with these terms, including the right to embed the SDKs in your own sites and applications and to ship them to your users.
Your data, your content and your report definitions remain yours, and nothing here transfers any of it to us. If you send us feedback, we may act on it without owing you anything for it.
Things we do not control
The parts of your stack you own are your responsibility: the ClickHouse server and its exposure, patching and backups; the Loki server if you collect logs; the identity provider you sign in with; and the AEM, mobile or server-side application you instrument.
Our documentation and sample code — bootstrap snippets, AEMaaCS integration examples, sizing tables — are given as reference points. Read them before you run them in production; you are the one who knows your environment.
No warranty
The service is provided as it is. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose, and we do not warrant that a report will be accurate if the events feeding it are incomplete or wrong.
Nothing in these terms excludes a liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Limits on liability
Subject to the paragraph above, we are not liable for lost profits, lost revenue, lost or corrupted data, business interruption, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the platform. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is capped at the greater of the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim — which on a free account is nothing — or £100.
We say this bluntly because of how the product is built: your event data lives in your database, and we are not in a position to insure a system we do not operate. Back up what matters to you.
Ending it
You can stop at any time: remove the SDK, revoke the credentials, and email us to delete the account and its tenant metadata. Your event rows stay in your database, untouched, because they were never ours to remove.
We may suspend or close an account that breaches the acceptable use section, that threatens the stability or security of the service, or where we are legally required to. Except where the breach is serious or ongoing, we will tell you what the problem is and give you a chance to fix it first.
We may also discontinue the free service. If we do, we will give reasonable notice — long enough for you to point your SDKs elsewhere while keeping the data you already hold.
Changes to these terms
We will update the date at the top when these terms change, and email account holders about anything material rather than relying on you to notice. Continuing to use the platform after a change takes effect means you accept the revised terms; if you do not, close the account.
Disputes and contact
If something goes wrong, email hello@infralytiqs.com first. Nearly everything is faster to fix in a conversation than in a process, and we would rather hear about a problem than read about it.
These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the law of the jurisdiction in which Infralytiqs is established, and the courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction. If you need that stated for a procurement or vendor-review form, ask us and we will confirm it in writing.
If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands. Our not enforcing something straight away does not mean we have given it up.
These terms describe how we run the service. They are written to be understood rather than to be exhaustive, and they are not legal advice — if your organisation needs a signed agreement or a data-processing addendum, get in touch.
